For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Profile Information

What city, and country are you from originally?
China
What are you doing/plans here?
I am a teacher at Jilin Provincial Institute of Education, working in the field of foreign affairs.
A little something about yourself - hobbies, interests, favorites, goals, etc
I used to work at Baicheng Teachers' College, where is located at northwest of Jilin Province, taught English and charged foreign affairs office, made a lot of international friends during the time. Then I went to Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA as a Chinese guest teacher, I taught Chinese language to High school students for two years. Spending a year studying Japanese at Tokyo after America, I come to Chiangchun for the current job, would like to make more international friends here.
Finally...we get way too many spam accounts trying to apply. Can you say something about Changchun to show you are legitimate (sorry, but we have to ask)
Changchun is one of the three capital cities of northeastern three provinces, movies and automobiles are the popular industries here. Jingyue lake is a pretty good place for hiking. Too many roads are under construction now, traffic is too bad now. Hope to get better soon.
