Too bad for Argentina. Those guys are on the rise. Watch out for the next world cups.

Whatever the eventual result of the world cup, the all blacks is the team that dominates this game since as far back as I can remember.

The semi finals look a little bit like the 1987 semi finals where NZ won over Wales, and France over Australia, before NZ won in the final. This was in NZ as well. This time, the teams are not facing each other in the same order. It is going to be interesting to watch.

France dominated the first half and although England tried to get back into the game, they just couldn't seem to get over the game line. The French were world class this game!

France has already been twice in final: 1987 (lost to New Zealand) and 1999 (lost to Australia). Wales was third in 1987 but never got to the final. They played very well today, though. No new finalist for now.

The NZ dominance at this sport is such that it really wouldn't hurt to see them winning another world cup after 24 years (they are the only team with a winning record against every single other team, and only five national teams have ever beaten them), but you never know. Accidents happen. An accident named "South Africa", maybe.

Except for the All Blacks, the other 3 matches are too close to call. I will be somewhere over the North Sea when England play France. Damn!
