For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

This weeks photo walk, Wednesday 2nd of July, will be to the shuangyang area. We will get to see the local deer in this area, visit exhibit street and the shuangyang reservoir. We will meet at 8:30 at renmin square, where a bus will take us. We should be back in the city for 4pm and lunch will be included. This looks like a fantastic day out with lots to see!! Please let me know if you can make it

after the trip to Shuangyang, the final competation for photography walk will be unveilled, the top three winners will be awarded for the "Foreign Experts Vacation", the three day  free trip to Chang Bai Mountains area, including the waterfall in San Jiao Long Wan, one of the most famous scenary spot -- the 15th Valley(canon), and the haven pool!

 So please send your photo for competation ASAP to Lexi. The final result will be ready next week!
