20 hours teaching a week

12k - 15k salary (depending on experience and teaching skills)

Summer and winter vacation paid

4 days paid sick leave

Summer vacation trip with students to Beijing, Shanghai or Shenzhen paid

At least 1 year teaching previous teaching experience needed

We have a partnership with is University so our company will also throw in a 1 week trip to Shenzhen during the winter vacation, hotel and tour guide provided by us.

lol i love the spidey-sense part, i don't know about this job posting, i have no idea about what kind of salaries they have there and i surely have no clue about 17 teachers arriving there, but i will arrive there with my group (8 fresh newbies lol) on the 19th. So anytime after that we can meet and hang out, lol u all seem interesting.

Sara- I would suggest that the best place you can go to is the 3 Monkeys and introduces yourselves to Mark and Sarah ( from Ireland) who help run the pub. You should fit right in if you like parties!

thx Richard, If its similar to the English pubs im sure ill love it there!!, ill be staying in a place called hongchugi(i have no idea if the spelling is right or not lol, first on checklist when i get there is learn basic Chinese) i was told there is small shopping mall there with restaurants and a movie theater close by, also a bigger shopping mall down the street. If your familiar with this place is the 3 Monkeys bar in the same area or no?

Also is there a good gym in this area some of us could sign up too? i usually hit the gym twice a day here and would like to continue in Changchun. i'd appreciate any recommendations for a gym with any variety of fitness classes i could take part in.

There are several gyms in that area, if you are staying where I think you are. Drop me a note once you're here and I can show you where.

If it's where I think you are - HonqiJia then the Gulin Lu area is pretty good- numerous cafés/bars/restaurants. The 3 Monkeys will be a 10 -15 minute taxi ride. Taxis are vey cheap but impossible to get at certain times

If I it is hongqi jie it is a place where I live and there is a gym very close and bunch of foreigners that go there few times a week :)

Thats great yea i heard from others cab's are difficult to catch around 5 or 6pm. I'm guessing with the snow there it should be better taking the bus

thx Murin it should be a good place to meet new people there. Do they have any kind of boxing classes there? If they do that will be the ideal place.
