10th anniversary! Changchun Friends will enter its 10th year this year!
Changchun Friends will have been around in Changchun for 10 years this year so we would like to wish everyone who has helped, participated or supported us a Happy New Year.
It first started as an idea that Alex Antonicelli and Richard Roman had of creating a small guide for Changchun and using this as a means to teach their students both design and business skills. The launch of the first book was held at the Shangri La and this proved very popular and became the stepping stone for Changchun Friends to develop.
A major change happened when Jason Reed put up a site on Facebook ( which he still manages today). Today it is available on a Ning platform as well as on Facebook. Friends such as Shoghi Tufts, Jo Dobert, Anabel Garcia, Scotish Martin,were there at the beginning. Colby, Cody, Richard Ridealgh, David Baumel, Sal Carbone, Matt Wood, Ferney Manrique, French Vincent and more recently Jack, Remi, Murin, Michael, John, Ben, and Mark, Cynthia, Burns have also all helped enormously
Anyway, wherever you are in the world Changchun Friends offers you a happy new year,
