For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

June 21, the start of Vasa Cross Country Running Festival, is around the cornor! It´s not just a running competition, it´s a festival for all! You can choose different length to run(30k,15k,7.5k) or walk(7.5k).

Preferential price for signing up before 10 June!

Hi Stanislav and others who are strongly interested in the event, YES, we have a short cut to get registered;)!! Please send me your info, including name, age, gender, nationality,distance, cell number, email account, pass port number, birth date etc... i ll forward to vasa office, then tomo on Thursday or Friday you may go to the Race Office right by the main gate of vasa to pay and get your number bibs. Then good luck on Saturday! If you win, please treat us a beer;)! Good luck!

feedback from persons was that registration is done already and is full so I will not attend this event ...or is something else how to register ? :-(

For ordinary running registration, the fee is 60RMB before June 10; over 10persons as a group 50RMB, after June 10 it is 100RMB! And you will enjoy Free entry, Competition number bibs, Free entrance to the park, Souvenir, T-shirt, Certificate and Insurance. For walking it is free, join the vasa ccf walking team!
