hey everyone! I will be back in CC in April. I was reading this thread because obviously I am an aficionado fisherman. Just FYI there's a lake like 5 times bigger than NanHu which is located 45 minutes from Changchun, in shuangyang 双阳, and it's called 双阳水库 (shuangyang shui ku) . A taxi would cost around 100 rmb (for 3 people, for example, is inexpensive) and a bus ticket around 30rmb. If you take a bus when you get off in 双阳 you need to take a taxi to the lake because it's not located within the city. I believe camping is allowed as well. I just came back from fishing baby sharks in uruguay so I'm on a good roll here, can't wait to get to China. I don't get my hopes up but catching small fish and throwing them back in the water would be fun enough for me.

I am looking to rent a cottage on a lake with some good fishing in China. If you find this let me know. I would be very happy and so will my son. ;-)
