We welcome all the participants including the Non-professional players,but all of us need to biking in the competition days, it's really a fantastic experience, and we're sure everybody can reach his/her goal in our track!

Doesn't the last line from Vicky's description mean you must be a cyclist and take part in the competition? Is this offer not for competitors only?

the mouthwatering food, fantasic korean culture with singing and dancing, biking along the river on the borader road, anyway, it deserved your time to be experienced. :)

The course map of the second stage of this year's Vatternrundan China Cycling Festival - which also bears the same name - looks easy. But do not be fooled. There is quite a few bumps and if there is a headwind you will be facing a genuine challenge. If the first stage might favour the lightweight climbers, this one will see the so-called 'power riders' all the way up front.
Riders will depart at Yuanguo, a non-distinct venue right next to the fence that separates China from the DPRK. Following a rather smooth concrete road long-distance participants will be looking on their right for over 100km to catch glimpses of North Korean towns and people. As on stage 1, the scenery throughout the race is great. Whereas the altitude gradually decreases, you won't feel this in your legs as most of the route is a rollercoaster with some steeper bits. There is little flat in this stage at all, in fact. After turning west away from the border towards the Xianjing scenic spot, it gets still somewhat hillier as you steam onwards towards the finish in the town of Helong after 170 km.
There will be large finish arena in Helong with showering facilities and everything needed to enjoy a relaxing afternoon before getting on the bus that will take everyone back to Yanji that evening.

The finish is set in the quiet setting of Erdao Baihe, smack in front of the Gem International 5-star hotel, our official event hotel. Erdao Baihe is one of the gateways to Changbai Shan, which can be visited the next day (see travel options). A relaxing day on one of Northern China's most scenic mountains before Vatternrundan China on 25 August.
