For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

Come one, come all and help us celebrate the 4th of July by attending the party!  Everybody is welcome!

This year's celebration will be held at the NBeer Bar, one block east from the Dongnanhu Da Lu Light Rail station (Linhe Jie line). Music, pool, Xbox, big screen TV, and of course grilled hamburgers & hot dogs!  Indoor and outdoor facilities!

Yes, you can play your own music! They have a pretty good sound system.

Alabama Jason has agreed to head up the burger making effort.  As for price, we are looking at around 25 yuan.

It is pay as you go and no door charge.

they have a beer supermarket with over 200 beers ranging from 12-38yuan...they also have draught beer for 12 yuan. the cost of the burgers has not been decided yet!
