For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Sorry for two things, No. 1: for the last minute notice, I myself was told this news just several minutes ago, one of my foodie friends just came up to this idea to have a dinner tomorrow (Dec 6th.) and  quite a handful of others responded actively and positively. No. 2: this dinner is only in Chinese. So, everyone who'd like to join this dinner, pls let me know at 13578883720. You don't have to speak Chinese fantastically, but if u dont speak it at all, that could be a little bit suffering. The restaurant we are heading tomorrow is one of the most historic and accepted Dongbei cuisine ones, it provides traditional Dongbei food and the space is decorated in the 1970s' or 1980s' way with all kinds of artefacts of those times.
