Event Description
The Festival of Lanterns takes place at the end of the Chinese New Year Celebration, on the fifteenth day of the first moon. Lanterns have been part of Chinese life for centuries so it's not surprising to see a festival of lanterns. Another important feature of this festival is the rice glue ball, Chinese name is “Yuan Xiao”. It is a kind of traditional Chinese food which every family would have it on the Festival of Lanterns.
Mandarin Garden will hold a culture activity to celebrate the Festivalof Lanterns at February 23rd. Please join us.
- Get to know the tradition of the Festival of Lanterns.
- Make your own lantern, DIY!
- Have a taste of the rice glue ball.
- Make new friends from all over the world.
