For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

Greetings Changchun. 

In the old days of proud Danish viking travellers, who dared to travel the fierce waters of the northern seas, the vikings brought home many fine women, treasure and foods. 

I will host a night of Danish food and stories, where I will serve Danish food, as my mother would have made it. 

Food: 

I have organized the food with Derrick at Grandpa's and you can expect the following: 

One main dish with Danish meatballs (frikadeller) Danish bread from "The Backstube", Danish butter and potatoes in cream sauce. 

I have also prepared a dessert which will be Chocolate mousse. 

Please mark your calendar for monday the 19th of November, so that you do not miss out on this excellent event.

Jack and I have tried to find some very specfic Danish schnaps, but we have not been able to find any Danish spirits. 

So you will make do with the excellent selection at Grandpa's.
