For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

Once the sound of Changchun concert is over, I will be glad to make everybody shake their booty on a selection of the greatest disco funk world hits!

Bar 17 is in courtyard. The entrance of the courtyard is on the right of the big fish restaurant.

disco (Boney M, village People, early Barry White...) and Funk (Earth wind and fire, Kool and the Gang, KC and the sunshine band...) and 70's and 80's music style based on a predominant dance-able bassline. Lyrics are usually about hapiness and simple and enjoyable things in life such as YMCA, love and love in YMCAs

I solemnly swear there will be no Gannam style played that night. When I say disco-funk party, I stick to the genres. The party last night was great but I didn't hear much of latin music...
