For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

So ... this could be the longest held woody in American history, or ... it's gonna be a wide-margin victory where the remaining votes won't really make a difference, anyway.

Ohio.

About 1.43 million voters across the state have requested absentee ballots under the program, reports the  Enquirer, but only 620,000 had completed and returned them as of last Friday.

The election could end:

1) Nov. 6th

2) Nov. 17th
"Elections officials expect that many of the remaining ballots still out will be returned by Election Day. But the program requires that anyone who does not return an absentee ballot, and chooses to vote in person, will have to cast a provision ballot, which won't be counted until at least Nov. 17."

or

3) Nov. 27th

"By law, the final vote count in the state doesn’t have to be completed until Nov. 27, meaning that a tight race in Ohio could leave the rest of the country holding its breath until all the state's provisional ballots are counted and certified as having been cast by registered voters."

We are moving "supposably", which probably means "not" on Nov 7th to our newly refitted energy efficient international building @ Changchun Shiyi High School.  If it's delayed, I'll be there....   ;>))
