For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Dear Chris Knight, the organizer is Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office (CCFAO) and Changchun Sports Bureau. I am working with CCFAO, but not among the officials who in charge of this Games.
I wish this event could be known by the foreign friends as much as possible, and wish all the participants could have fun in the participation. Cheers :)
Leo, What is your position in this event? Are you an organizer?
Dear Vinz, normally the participants are registered through their employer's action because there will ba a team leader's meeting before the games. Anyway, if you can buid up a team with at least 8 independent participants (no affiliation to any other teams), and elect a team leader, give your team a name. You can also register the game in name of this team.
For example, 11, 12 or more, male participants for a football team in name of "The Team of Changchun Friend"...
Can we register individually or does it have to be done through the employer's action?
