For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

Fishing in a nice scenic spot just outside Changchun city limits. Join us for the May Holidays and enjoy a peaceful setting to either relax and see if your lucks in with the fish, or just simply grab one of the reclining chairs and read a good book by the small lake.

The cost includes:

Transport (there and back)

3 meals (Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast) + all drinks!

Sleeping Accommadation (extra if you wish to use the Mongolian style round tents)

Fishing Permits

BBQ areas prepared (any fish caught will be cooked for us)

A Campfire will be the centre of the evenings entertainment.

The Cost for this is 279RMB

We have also been told that if enough of you want it, they can supply a lovely roasted goat - Mongolian style. This will cost an extra 50RMB per person, but we can decide once we get there!

exact figures are unclear. but gaea is sure upwards of 40 people. its 45 minutes away. so perhaps 100-120rmb
