For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

Preparing for the China National Winter Games, Changchun will be sending a team to Harbin for a small tournament. Details are still coming in, but it will be the weekend of Dec. 8-11. If I can get enough responses, we can arrange a charter bus to take us all there. If that is the case, the price will be 500-700 rmb/person, and that includes transportation, hotel and all food and drinks.

Sorry, but the Ice Festival will NOT be ready yet. (mid-January)

Jeez. Since I was one of the two people that actually supported Tim and The Changchun Chiefs... everybody has something to say about my words. How about you get off of your asses and support Tim like I did... then you can say something.
