Hello! My English name is Joseph. I am a graduate student in Jilin Unversity. My major is English-Chinese Interpreting. I am preparing my degree paper which requires me to have a real interpreting experience (a practice report on a particular interpreting task).

Now, I have collected related materials about the PUPPET MANCHURIAN PALACE in Changchun, and I’D LIKE TO INVITE A FOREIGN FRIEND (Native English Speaker) to visit this historical site. I will be your guide interpreter (interpreting what the museum explainer is saying), and I will use a digital recorder to record the sound of the whole interpreting process and use them in my paper.

I will pay for the tickets (otherwise you will pay 80 yuan to visit by yourself), and the fee for the museum explainer (60 yuan). You don’t have to pay anything, all you have to do is just to visit there.

But next Sunday is my father-in-law's birthday' party. I can't be absent. Richard, is next Monday to Saturday connvinent for you? I will do my best to fufill the intrepretingtask and let you know more about the Palace and Puyi and the history associted with them.
