For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

International Women's Day (IWD), originally called International Working Women’s Day, is marked on March 8 every year. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.
This coming  International  Women's Day is no different at WLC. We have a variety of activities and themes organized for your enjoyment.
A) I will cook some delicious food for you all to enjoy for free. 
B) I will give every woman a flower.
C) Fun nail painting for those who want to beauty themselves further.
D) A fun questionnaire (ppt.) entitled "WHAT WOMEN WANT...and what men will NEVER understand."
E) Music, Dancing and lots of laughs through the evening.

And special show only suitable for Women;)

Any men who wish to attend must be dressed to kill...or not dressed at all (don't tell my husband!!)
