Mr Ben Jordan will be giving a talk on his hometown of Brighton and his adopted hometown of Tokyo

Great evening. One of the interesting points that Ben made was that the reason he likes these two cities is that they are both liberal ( in the classic sense of the word) and allow people to be themselves and no one will bat an eyelid.
I tend to agree. I also think Brighton and Tokyo are great - both eccentric in their own way but freedom is the key
