For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

Photo expedition to the old Changchun cemetery. We will be taking the 159 bus, at the corner of xikang lu and baihui jie, for an hour and then roughly a half hour walk through some old hutons to get to the cemetery. Should be able to get some interesting shots along the way there as well as at the cemetery. Again, all welcome. Bring whatever camera you have (even if its your phone camera), for a fun day out.

I will talk to Jack about it. after the Spring photo exhibition we could organise one for "The Secret Changchun"

Anyway, looking forward to seeing some of these photos. Tim Burton is an excellent guest photographer!

Great stuff Mark. I think we need to look at creating a special photo exhibition for Changgchun behind the scenes - or something like that!

Wow, that makes for a long day. I don't think my body could handle 16 hours of walking around. ;-)

Sounds like an alarming experience! Shame we do not have any foggy days in the Chun!
