For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

The annual Shangri La Christmas charity event will be with us soon and this year we would like to invite all members of Changchun Friends to join us and to help contribute if you wish

We will be selling a variety of items including our very own BURNS t-shirt - limited edition!

Some surprises and  fun activities  are promised

I do not think there is an event on the 1st at the Sheraton. Hopefully we will be finding out more details soon

It will be an interesting day. The Grand Opening of the Sheraton Jingyuetan is also on December 1st.

Does his meschool have a table? I don't know. 

From what I remember last year... there were only "commercial" tables and tables sponsored by local schools and charity-minded tables.

Did the hotel give you a table jeff, because I am pretty certain you cant just walk in and set up shop. Also, having a table usually means make money for kids! be careful that you dont look like your just selling yourself...we all know how great america is. in my opinion, this is the wrong time to be doing this!
