For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

We are planning a day trip to Shenyang to sightsee, shop and eat good food. We would hire a coach and leave around 8.00am and plan to be back around 8.00pm

IKEA, Metro - a western supermarket (think City Supermarket but bigger!), good restaurant etc

For the supermarket you will need to bring your passport - more info to follow

We will meet outside Macdonalds at 7.30-8.00am

Anyone up for it?

If we get enough people we will hire a coach so it is easy to bring things back

We're all going on a summer holiday........

Big apologies people. My wife, Gaea has changed the date of the fishing trip.I dearly wanted to go but it seems that quite a lot of people wanted to go and it was the dates that held people back from going. I have offered Richard Roman the money for the travel, so I am hoping that this still allows you to keep the booking with the same bus size, also allowing vinz and entourage to get a lift back with you.
Unfortunately, breakfast can't happen also since life club will be closed.
I am sorry guys. I hope that the money I give Richard will still allow you to have a great days shopping in Shenyang.

Min is thinking about it...but everyone from my school is off to other pastures... :)  I'm the only one chillin' out since my big trip's next month. :)  7am breakfast it is...can we have the baked apple? :D
