Event Description
The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots won't just be facing each other, but also facing history when they arrive in Glendale, Ariz., next week for Super Bowl XLIX.
No team since the 2003-04 Patriots has done what the Seahawks are trying to achieve now in repeating as Super Bowl champions, so it is certainly fitting that Seattle will have to beat New England as it tries to become the NFL's next dynasty.
That it's been a decade since the Patriots were the last team to repeat is testament to just how historic it would be should the Seahawks complete yet another perfect postseason run, and this time doing it not as the plucky underdogs, but as the bullies of the NFC — with a locker room full of big personalities handling the big expectations.
