Event Description
The Choonies is the first awards ceremony for outstanding work within the Changchun community.
We will celebrate the best contibutions to 2011 as well as start our own Hall of Fame for Changchun friends that have made a major contribution to our community in the past up to the present day.

The date is so difficult and the 7th was chosen as there is only 1 event happening on that date in Changchun and that event can be moved easily yo another date. Finding out it clashes with the Harbin trip and the Russian New Year is disappointing and we can discuss another date but it will be difficult.

i think january 7th is wrong date, cuz' i know a lot of people who's going to harbin that day... and for example me, i can't be able to attend it, cuz' i think i'll be in beijing for celebrating russian christmas... in russia january 7th is christmas

The Choonies is the first awards ceremony for outstanding work within the Changchun community. The provisional date for the event is the 7th of January 2012 at the World Life Club where we hope to attract a big audience for the The First Choonie Awards ceremony. We will celebrate the best contibutions to 2011 as well as start our own Hall of Fame for Changchun friends that have made a major contribution to our community in the past up to the present day.
