For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

Global Village is the yearly event being held in Jilin University.

This year ,the event will be divided into three parts.

THE AMAZING RACE(3-5pm),THE FOOD FESTINAL(5-6pm) ,THE TALENT SHOW PARTY(6-9pm).

The amazing race is a racing game in campus ,Jilin University.The campus will be divided into different "countuies",you team up with 4-6 good friends,start racing at campus's east gate at 3pm.Do some missions when you arrive at a "country",if succeed,you will gain nest clue.The final destination will be at the Gym.The wining team will be awarded.(In order to make the game controllable,if you want to join this part,please contact me first.thank you))))

The Food Festival

We will provide you food at the gym.If you want to cook the food from your country,fine!Just showing food all over the world!

The Talent Show Party

Chinese student audiences will arrive at 6pm.Then the show part will be on.Firstly,you will represent your country to show your culture at your Exhibition Booth.If you want to represent your culture,show it.Maybe a dance,a song,or a program.

There will also be games,Chinese Exhibition Booth showing Chinese culture at night.(If you have a great program you want to show your culture,please inform me:)I will be soooo glad))))

is it just for international friends or a Chinese person also fine? I think you should video-tape the Amazing race part, which sounds fine. Is there anyway to read Chinese poster about this event. Thanks.
