For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Would have loved to join but I'm not feeling my usual healthy self, so next time.
Dustin Hoffman (a newbie at that time) was in several films afterwards (some pretty good ones), but got his real break with 'Marathon Man' where the tooth-drilling scene is voted as one of the most cringe-worthy of all times. Personally I list Papilion (co-starring to Steve McQueen) and Perfume as his finest performances.
The song 'Mrs. Robinson' wasn't actually included fully in the movie. It didn't even have a name yet. Only after the movie became popular, Simon and Garfunkel recorded the version everyone knows and loves.
