For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.
Yeah I know... thinking about getting injured in china makes longboarding sound quite risky.
I've been longboarding almost everyday for the past 5 years despite the police, traffic, weather, hangover... and I'm not planning to stop.
Some people said they wanted to learn, and I'm still waiting, everyday.
It is more fun if you're there with me.
Everyday (unless it rains) I'll be hitting one of these spots. I have an extra deck for you to play/learn.
Nanhu (I don't care about the police no more)
Changchun Park (nice spot, long paths, few people)
Little playground behind wanda plaza
Tiyuchang Yatai Dajie Ziyou Dalu (not the best but it's nice)
Other spots (recommended by you)
I would really appreciate if any of you could give me a least some info about an available indoor place where we (or myself alone, so far) can ride our boards.
I'm looking forward to hear from you
Alex
