FAW - DaiShan Gong Yuan
FAW is a big area about 26-30 yuan from central parts of Changchun, and is best known for car/truck production. The main company being FAW but now there are many other big companies out there too.
This park is smaller than most of the other parks I have visited in Changchun. It's clean and very tidy with everything you would expect from a small park.
It's pleasant and quite busy by all ages.
It has a play area for children which is OK. but nothing to write home
about.
And a well-used exercise area.
I suppose I was a little disappointed as it is just a simple park with many little paths and not much more. And with other bigger parks having so much in them, this park was just nice.
There is a central pavilion that is used by the locals for music and dancing.
I noticed many people doing Tai Chi in a wooden part of the park.
A few nice statues to have a look at.
The thing I liked most was the pictures of the cars and trucks made in FAW were proudly displayed high up on the trees.
And one other thing that was very noticeable was the friendliness of these people. They are extremely welcoming and helpful.
