FAW -JinXiu Gong Yuan - Central FAW.

This is a great little park and has all the ingredients for your postcard Chinese photos.

Yes, on a lovely day in June I discovered a peach of a park - and I wasn't expecting it either. It was pure joy to be there.

The entrance way is spectacular and a great start to your photolog.

Everything is beautifully restored - bright and colourful, with archways and walkways full of colour. It's a feast.

It's got a beautiful lake, one absolutely cute little humped-back bridge and one very long zigzag bridge. It has waterfalls, wonderfully decorated pagodas on little hills. Steep little stairways, drooping willow trees, lilypads abundant on the lake.

Have I got you camera buffs interested yet as there is so much in this great little park. I was clicking like crazy as each path or archway led to something even better than the one I just left.

This is worth the 26-30 yuan fare to FAW.

FAW is quite developed too so there is plenty to do in the area such as there is a big OUYA nearby but once you leave this park you must cross the road to visit the small but incredibly beautiful ornamental park/garden. There you will continue to fill up your camera and your albums. 

This park though needs a good camera and time. I have only shown you a few of the many I took and I hope it gets you out there.

I visited on a hot sunny day but I'm sure this park has lots of great shots all the year around.
