Changchun's famous flower garden is in bloom for one week so don't miss it. 

The park is called Mu dan yuan  or Peony Gardens - Mu dan is Chinese for Peony and this is the flower that blooms for one week only and this is the week.

It's on Renmin dajie and opposite the children's park so you can visit both.

Unfortunately, because of the strange winter 

we just had the spectacle is not as great as previous years but it's still worth a look.

This is really a large garden and not a park hence Yuan the Chinese for Garden.

It's easy to get there but it's difficult to get a taxi from that spot so wander across Renmin Dajie and visit the Children's park.
