Thank you everyone for your kind replies ! I called the doctor yesterday and now my friend's friend told me he's back in beijing. ( he ran away from the railway station last night and i was looking for him the whole day). Now i'm relieved and happy. Thank everyone again :)

i think jamie is right on both counts. if you need the southlake hotel doctors number let me know. although i suspect he could only prescribe the medicine your friend needs

Catherine, it seems there are no foreign psychologists in Changchun.  But I've heard of a General Practitioner living in Southlake Hotel.  There's a new hospital in the Jingyue Area where a Doctor and his staff are mostly foreigners.  Let me research more..

Does anyone know any foreign doctor in changchun? I have a friend who came to visit changchun but his mental illness got triggered for no reason. Thank you very much for the help!
