For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Summer Time Near the beach with part-time work?

I am living in Qinhuangdao, a port city, just east of Beijing. We have a summer camp opening up in July running 5 days a week, Mon-Fri. finished at noon every day. That means afternoon and weekends for you to explore this quaint city or head to the beach and frolic in the sea. We also have a great growing foreign community hosting lots of events ( www.qhdconnect.com ) so you won't be bored!

Great school. If you are interested and know what the RISE schools look like in Changchun, then at least that gives you an idea of what the school campus looks like.
Great beaches too, here now. The Sea is lovely and warm:)
