For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

I'm from the north east suburbs of Paris (not a true Parisian). The locality is rather tiny, so nothing worth mentioning really, unless I start naming the bands I played with.

The most famous band from around my hometown is probably the hip hop band NTM. I'm not their biggest fan.

Richard - the called themselves the kaiser Chiefs because they were all leeds fans and wanted to honour the leeds captain (radebe?) who comes from South Africa and that was his local team

Interesting but useless facts No. 1

NONONO, only one band per person/city. Where are the Germans, the French, the 'merkins. No American music?

What did the Kaizer Chefs cook? I'll try any new cuisine.
