For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Bier Ecke is close to Backstaube away from the school. The road makes a slight right. It is very close to Bella

Route 66, Die Backstube and Bier Ecke are all behind the school we teach at. Me and Cybet went to Bier Ecke on Saturday for the 88rmb buffet and it was really good.

The owner and her friends were really nice, constantly serving us plates of food, from the bbq. Great lamb, steak and outdoor patio. WE will definately go again.

This place was better than all the other we have visited on beer street and we have been many times. Haven't been to Rt 66 or Bella Italia yet though!

If anyone is heading out that way this week, just shoot us an email and will probably join in.

Route 66 on CaiZhi Jie is not new (I hope this is the one you mean).

It is not bad, but the prices are high and the food is not really my taste!

The menu looks like they try to copy the Backstube.
