For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

I lived in the same town as Benny Hill, Felixstowe in Suffolk, located in SE England.

His apartment was very humble for a global superstar and he shared it with his housekeeper. He was very reclusive and was rarely ever seen in the community. Never married, no kids and never socialised. Like many great comedians he lived a very private life.

But I will always be a fan.

Looks more like Richard Branson and Benny Hill have teamed up!

Yeah, the Berry Boys, Raspberry and Frankenberry.  Not to be confused with the Bowery Boys.  We can do a few film shorts set in Changchun, maybe adding a Cheech and Chong twist to them.  I'll get Steve Mellow on the project pronto.

The funniest duet I have ever watched was Laurel and Hardy and Berry Boys are up there - all about entertaining.

L and H? Hmmm, I was thinking more like Martin and Lewis.  Or maybe the guys from "A Weekend at Bernie's".

Maybe (as a duet) G and J will warble a version of "Ballad of the Green Berets" by SSgt Barry Sadler (I guess black beret in this case....)
