For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Stay for a while and have a family?
A little something about yourself - hobbies, interests, favorites, goals, etc
My name is Camilo Andres Junca-Leon. I arrived in China a year ago because my wife is Chinese. We came to Changchun just a few weeks ago. I hold a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from the University of Cambridge and a DELE (Diploma in Didactic Strategies for Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language) from the National University of Colombia.

Though my native language is Spanish I also speak English since I was 6 years old because I studied at an all-American bilingual school in Colombia. I have been teaching mostly English for over 20 years, both as a private teacher and at several education institutions.

Finally...we get way too many spam accounts trying to apply. Can you say something about Changchun to show you are legitimate (sorry, but we have to ask)
Yesterday, March 28th it was still snowing.
