For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

A little something about yourself - hobbies, interests, favorites, goals, etc
In the States, I like to spend time with friends: talk, eat, drink, talk about different cultures and languages (because I used to hang out with an international group of friends). When I'm alone, I like to read, write, listen to music, watch movies to feel empowered and connected with the larger world. I am an intellectual in many ways and can enjoy a good conversation if paced right. I'd like to meet some good people who are looking to connect and forget about the sound and fury of an industrializing Changchun. I especially want to meet people who are serious about friendship.
Finally...we get way too many spam accounts trying to apply. Can you say something about Changchun to show you are legitimate (sorry, but we have to ask)
It is so spiritually crippling and far away from the sea.
