For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Acronyms and word association

OBJECT: To devise an appropiate phrase consisting of words beginning with the letters of a chosen word or phrase.
For example: STAR WARS - Space,Time,And Relativity, With A Ridiculous Script.
DEVIL - Downright Evil Villanous Immoral Lucifer.

So the first person to comment should offer us a couple of their own then leave a word for the next person to comment on.

This is obviously a game that comes from the esl circuit, but can be enjoyed by all.
As for acronyms - well S.A.B had me giggling to myself.
Anyone got a clever one for the word of the year -douchebagettes!

CCC - Cheap ......... Crap!

Since most colleges are slowing down, I have some free time and found myself helping a friend cover some classes in a primary school. My first class involved myself struggling with 48, 6-7 year olds. The class was going well until they got a little bit noisy and I tried to get them to be quiet. It worked, but for 2 boys at the back who continued to chat away. I made my way towards them and  decided to hit my fist on some side paneling covering those huge old radiators we see everywhere to announce my approach. MY FIST WENT STRAIGHT THROUGH! - C.C.C

The following are initials for the first lines of various Christmas songs. Not the titles, but the first lines. For example, SNHNAICAIB would be “Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright” – which is the first line of the song.
