For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

The "D" train (bullet train) is about 55 minutes.

NOON- TRAIN from the Choon to serene, serendipitous and swanky SIPING

3pm-  Korean coffee shop

5pm-  Dinner and drinks (Restaurant from Belgium)

7pm-  Entertainment (Singer from Ireland)

9pm-  Dart Tournament

1030- Night Club (Latte Bar)

1am to 5am- Option #1- Go back to cc 

                  Option #2- Stay at the Latte Inn

They let me outta the ward every so often.

The darts tournaments there have blunted tips though....

So...having a conversation with my Chinese colleague and she said that Siping is known for the "Psycho Hospital" and if you say you were there, you have just been for a visit and you are crazy....I guess it's most appropriate that we have sharp objects to throw as part of our "psycho" experience... :P

If we do it on a Saturday, I was thinking about it yesterday, we could all go there Friday night on a late train from CC and stay somewhere if you know of a nice place.  I would love to find a place with a bathtub... :D
