  China has a long period of history , and Tang is one of these dynasties. As we all know , cultural communication between china and foreign countries in Tang Dynasty is of prosperity very much .

However , the making and development of porcelains reached the top rank in ancient china, especially the white porcelain green porcelain made mainly in northern  and southern china . The most representative of green porcelains is secret dishes and plates. This kind of porcelain is made to provide for only royal family , therefore , the method of how to make it is kept secret ,so called Secret porcelain.

 Actually ,about its name ,there are also many different ways of explanation . It is said that another origin of the names is that there grow a kind of plant and the color of plant is the same as that of the secret dishes and plates. All in all ,the explanation of the name of the secret porcelain is numerous and interesting , in which is filled with many very delightful stories .  

 The secret dishes and plates are calm like the surface of the lake and it is very delicate and intricate . Once a chinese poet wrote a poetry to describe the color and usage of this porcelain , which has been widely spread until now .  

Moreover , up to now , there is no one knowing how to make it ,which is a pity , and only 13 were found and preserved in the whole world .the finding of  this porcelain is a miracle in the historical culture of ancient china and it also riches chinese porcelain culture . Chinese people are proud of it very much .
