For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

How MASTERPIECE works.
One stack of cards are famous paintings.
El Greco, Rembrandt, Jackson Pollack....
The other stack is money- 2 million...all the way down to "Forgery"
The values are randomly assigned to the paintings. Players have no idea if they are buying a real painting or a forgery.
It is an interesting game. More for adults then kids.
I remember Masterpiece but never played it - just looked at it through a shop window - my father brought me and my siblings up in a beautiful place but paid little - rather than the city. For most of my early life I lived in castles with a turret for a bedroom.
As for Peking duck - hey Donald is too easy - try yourself I dare you - just open powerpoint and choose insert then shapes and then the shape shown below and have fun
.
