For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Changchun Friends

a great way to get involved

"There is no love sincerer than the love of food," George Bernard Shaw said. Judging by the number of amazing dishes out there, he was right.

But which are the tastiest? The CNNGo has scoured the planet for what they think are 50 of the most delicious foods ever created.

Actually, I often tell students that french cuisine is some of the best in the world, so I concede that whoever wrote this article didn't go to france!!

only one dish France??? Is that a joke or what? Does the author of this ranking knows the meaning of the word cuisine? I doubt it. Where are the Boeuf Bourguignon, les endives au jambon, le canard a l'orange, le soufflé au fromage, le foie gras, le camembert, les galettes saucisse, la mousse au chocolat, la fondue savoyarde, le beurre d'esgargot, sans parler des saumons en papillote ou autres forets noires....

Somebody who thinks that sushi is the best japanese food can not be trusted anyway. The most typical and world famous, no doubt  about it, but surely not the best... where are the sashimis and tapaniakis?? I believe the personn who wrote this is a fraud! Sometimes internet make some people think they can be journalists, what I see here is someone whi talks about something he doesn't know, and even worse who promotes junk food such as fish and chips and pop corn instead of sane and healthy food...
