For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

I think the first one is Martin in his kilt (mannnnny years ago when he was a few pounds lighter)

Great Job Mary, you get a cookie from the cookie jar

Well done Mary.  This is like a history lesson.

There are many other hidden treasures inside the Art department building. We got a little tour and I took a few photos of these gems.

Albert has a look that says 'oh no, I'm about to get vandalized again!'

The other three have that 'make my day, punk' look about them.

When you do find out Martin, maybe you could ask why specifically these four guys. Nothing wrong with them, they all made great contributions to the science community, but what about others like Tesla, Watt, Hawking, Newton, and a slew of others

I think so too. Da Vinci, Einstein, Edison and Qian Xuesen. Hopefully,I can verify this on Monday.

But Einstein was the only one not vandalised. Thomas Edison still had red eyes and I am amazed some people saw this from this photograph..

I think nicholas is right. Sat with 6 students from that college and they believe that he's right. So do I, but who the monkeys is this guy!!

You would think they might have added Yuan Longping (the Father of Hybrid Rice). A great and humble man.

As for Michel's comments, that's going to be his personal story so he can claim clairvoyance
