For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

I understand the chef returned to his country.  Apparently he was staying here on a lapsed visa (and something with contraband?)  As for the wine, I myself stepped in front of that bullet, drinking it to protect others from a possible poisoning.

Also MUST mention the lack of capital letters in the title of the post and description of the video.

Unless Mahātmā Jack has an educational/professional background in Editorial Journalism or English Writing, there won't be a dispute.

Jason - master of the universe has given his divine wisdom

Might get mahatma jack to second or dispute this!

You can not call something a "First Annual" event.

Even if you have good intentions to repeat the event, you can NEVER be 100% sure of this happening (i.e.: the venue closing, a natural disaster, an illness, etc.); therefore using the word 'annual' can be unpredictable and unintentionally incorrect.

Properly... it is "The First" or "Inaugural" event.

Only after it is held twice can it be called an 'annual' event: "Grandpa's Second Annual Spaghetti Feast."

Sincerely,

The Grammar Police
