For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Changchun Park was pretty good last year, as they had grown a lot of tulips and it was so colourful.
When David visited it was in full bloom but on my visit in June 2012 it was not. Still pretty and enjoyable though.
It's a big and it says its one of the 4 biggest parks in Changchun.
It opened in 2000 and a lot of areas show the wear and tear, especially the children's areas that are badly in need of some investment.
Apart from that it is very clean and I saw one of the nicest public toilets - well from the outside anyway.
There's a old steam train that is great for photos.
Lots of long paths and it is very popular for the Chinese people who like to walk.
