For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

a great way to get involved

I found this recepie on the Internet. I didn't try it but it sounds interesting

 

Ingredients:

90ml of bacon vodka

180ml tomato juice

30ml of fresh lemon juice

3 drops of tabasco

pinch of salt

pinch of celery salt

pinch of black pepper powder

 

Bacon vodka:

 

We need 5 slices of bacon and 500ml of vodka.

We fry bacon until it gets crispy. Wait to cool it down and get rid of the oil using paper towels.

put bacon and vodka into a jar and leave it for 7 days in the fridge (remember to stir it from time to time) 

After 7 days pour the vodka to another jar using a strainer to remove the bacon and fat.

 

Bacon Bloody Mary:

 

Put all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice cubes. Cold water will balance the taste and will give it a milder taste. Shake it hard and pour it into a glass.
