For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Good evening everyone...  Sorry to inform you all the date has changed...  Beacause we wanted to reserve the restaurant which has the best food, but it is not available on the 1st of October... The best arrangement my family could make is October 3rd...  Sorry if this change interferes with your plans... Let us know if you are still available...

                                                                Sincerely: M&M

Congratulations to you both. Gaea and I would be delighted to attend this very special day for you. Feel free to pick my brains about the day

Congratulations again but unfortunately this will be a period I will not  normally be free. I hate clicking "Not attending"  and "Might attend" is too grey an area for someone who needs to know how many seats to book but I can't leave a message unless I do.

But here's an idea and I think a very good one. How about a webcam link so all the people who can't make it can watch it here in Changchun and all over actually. Just a thought. And I hope your Chinese wedding is awesome.

We don't know the exact number, but that's a great idea.  We'll figure out some more details later.

Definitely count me in!

Congratulations to the both of you. My wife is also from Meihekou. Seems all the good women come from there.

It's National day...  so most people should be free.
