Changchun Summer Festival

The China Changchun Summer Festival (hereinafter referred to as Summer Festival) is co-sponsored by the People’s Government of Changchun City and the Tourism Administration of Jilin Province. It is a large comprehensive festive event that has been held for five times. With unique advantages in natural resources, advanced concepts in organizing celebrative events, extensive public participation and strong sense of creating brands, the Summer Festival has been well recognized by the public, the tourists and experts at home and abroad. It has become an important platform to create tourism brands and to promote tourism cooperation and exchanges with the city’s counterparts.  

The theme of this Summer Festival is “Enjoy Summer Leisure in Beautiful Changchun”, which will be held from June 16 to September 27, 2012. The opening ceremony is scheduled on June 17, 2012, followed by such characteristically promotional leisure activities as Jingyue Lake Vasaloppet International Forest Walking Competition, Summer Leisure Tourism Conference, Outdoor Exhibition of Tourism Products, “Year of Russian Tourism” in China-Jilin Province (Changchun) China-Russia Tourism Week and Outdoor Artistic Performance.
