For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

The American International School are organising a special Christmas cocktail party at the Sheraton. Prices for tickets are 299 Yuan.

The Changchun American International School invites parents, staff and friends to their 2012 Christmas cocktail party, this Saturday, December 8 at 6.30pm

This will be an extra special event, as it will be held at Changchun’s brand new opulent, luxurious, and downright classy Sheraton Hotel. Located near the Changchun Movie World on Yongshun Road, it’s definitely worth the trip.

The reception starts at 6.30pm, and the mouth watering buffet will be served from 8pm. Free beer and soft drinks until 10pm is included in the ticket price. This will help ready everyone for the dancing till midnight.

The environment will be fine, the food will be fine, and so will the company, so please, dress smart for the occasion.
